The historic Stanton Street Shul, a New York Orthodox synagogue, has invited the Eshel community to share in a weekend of davening (prayer), divrei Torah (words of Torah), dialogue, and discussion.  Join Eshel and the Stanton Street Shul community for this exciting and unique opportunity.

  • For parts of the weekend we will be joining the Stanton Street Shul starting with Friday night services at  the shul on 180 Stanton St.

  • Private walking tour of the Lower East Side

  • Friday night dinner location for Eshel community will be sent upon registration

Cost:  $75 *

Students: $36**

* No one will be turned away for lack of funds, if $75 is prohibitive for you, contact miryam@eshelonline.org to discuss other options.

** Students!!  Special student Rate of $36- student ID is required.

7:00 pm       Kabbalat Shabbat at Stanton Street Shul

8:30 pm       Friday night dinner with Eshel community together in private home on the Lower East Side. Learning to follow.

Saturday June 13

9:30 am     Shabbat Davening followed by lunch with the Stanton Street Shul

                      Dvar Torah on the complexity and challenge of welcoming the stranger

2:30 pm     Guided tour of historic Lower East Side with Dr. Elissa Sampson

7:00 pm     Mincha, Seudah Shlishit and Ma’ariv
