Introducing Our New York Program Manager

We are excited to introduce the newest member of our team! LV joined us recently as our New York Program Manager. She brings a wealth of community building experience and enthusiasm for bringing people together.

We know many of you have been craving more in person events, and over 100 of you loved our Shabbat dinner in Manhattan this spring! With LV joining us, we are excited to respond to your requests for more in-person programming. Her expertise and dedication will enable us to not only continue the success of events like the Shabbat dinner but also expand our offerings to include a wide variety of gatherings that reflect the diversity and vibrancy of our community.

As our Program Manager, LV will be playing a pivotal role in expanding our presence in New York City. She will be working diligently to create a vibrant and welcoming space to meet and connect with other LGBTQ+ Jews. LV will be crafting a diverse array of in-person events, such as Shabbat dinners, movie and game nights, barbecues, and more. With her help, we are looking forward to introducing monthly programming in New York, which will provide consistent opportunities for our community to come together, celebrate, and connect.

LV is looking forward to meeting all of you! If you have specific programs that you would like to see, please reach out to her (lv@eshelonline.org) to share your thoughts. You’ll also have the chance to meet her at some of our upcoming events starting in October. You can find her at our screening of The Holy Closet at the JCC on October 17, and at the JQY Sukkot party on October 4. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to LV and supporting her efforts as we continue to work towards creating a more inclusive and embracing Orthodox community for all.
