About the Teacher
Alec Burroughs is an openly gay second year rabbinical student at Yeshivah Chovevei Torah. He has certification from the Parades Institute for Jewish Studies Educators Program in Jerusalem. He has also studied in the Yashrut Classic Talmud Program.
As a rabbi, Alec hopes to serve as a bridge for Jews who feel they have to give up one part of their identity in order to be true to another.
