Memorial for Shira Banki, Z”L, August 6th in NYC

CBST,  JQY and Eshel invite you to join us in a Memorial and Solidarity Aseifa/Gathering in response to the senseless hatred in Israel last week.  We gather one week after the Jerusalem Pride Parade, in which six people were stabbed and one of them, teenager Shira Banki, was murdered at the hands of a Jewish religious extremist. The Pride march was organized by the Jerusalem Open House, and we send them much needed love, prayers, tzedakah and support. We gather in grief, in outrage, and in hope, raising our Jewish and LGBTQS voices together against violence, racism and homophobia in Israel. Together we will create the peace we want to see in the world.
