They have 4 children ages 16-26; her 20-year-old son is a student at Parsons/The New School and is gay. When putting together a radiology talk about immunotherapy or childhood cancer\, Dr. Stark realized that much of today’s novel cancer treatment is a direct result of the efforts of the gay communities response to the HIV/AIDs epidemic in the 1980’s and 1990s. This has led her into a deeper study of HIV/AIDs both in how it has impacted today’s medical treatments as well as its current implications for the LGBTQ+ community.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Enjoy lunch with Jeff Ingber\, Owner of Kosher Catch\, who will talk about staying healthy\, eating healthy.
