DESCRIPTION:Eshel-Los Angeles presents an:\n \nChanging the LGBT Conversation in the Orthodox Community\nA workshop for anyone interested in creating a more open environment\, whether or not you are directly connected to someone who is gay \nSunday\, Sept 18 / No fee / RSVP required \nHosted at the law offices of Nelson Hardman\n11835 West Olympic Blvd.\, 9th Floor \n9:15 am – Breakfast and Registration\n9:30 am – 11:30 am – Interactive Program and Discussion \nSpace is limited.  Sign up here.\n \nDuring this workshop you will: \n• Get resources on how to address tough questions from children and adults\n• Understand what words to use that embrace rather than alienate\n• Explore how to respond positively to negative comments about LGBT people\n• Discuss how we can make our institutions more inclusive \nEshel-Los Angeles works to create positive conversation and culture surrounding LGBT issues in the Los Angeles Orthodox community.
