The event will begin with a Pride brunch at WeWork Times Square (1460 Broadway\, New York\, NY 10036) from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.We will then enjoy watching the march from a designated viewpoint (TBA in advance of the event)\, and at 3:00 p.m.\, regroup on 17th Street\, between 7th-8th Avenues (Section 7\, Group 25)\, to line up and march as the Jew York Pride delegation. \nRegister to march today! Please be advised that Heritage of Pride has capped the number of marchers for each delegation\, and participants will be required to wear an official wristband for entry to the march route.  Jew York Pride will receive 150 wristbands\, which we will distribute upon registration at the brunch (one per march registrant). You must register in advance and pick up your wristband at the brunch in order to secure a spot in the march. \nSchedule: \n11:00 am – 1:00 pm: Kick off the morning us for our community-wide Pride Brunch at WeWork Times Square (1460 Broadway\, entrance on West 41st Street). \n1:00 am – 2:30 pm: Join us for a viewing station as we watch the March before heading downtown to march ourselves! DESCRIPTION:Shlomo Ashkinazy and his husband Michael Gomillion have generously invited members of Eshel to join them on Sunday August 12\, in Cherry Grove on Fire Island\, where they will be spending the week in a lovely rented beach house. \nCherry Grove offers a variety of opportunities for fun activities to choose from including\, beautiful beach\, hotel pool\, nature walks\, extremely friendly community\, and live a cabaret pool show at 3PM. There is also a live show at 6PM in The Hotel’s Ice Palace Cabaret/Disco for those who plan to stay later. \n(the last Ferry from Cherry Grove to Sayville leaves at 11:30PM) \nThis invitation is limited to the first 30 people who register and is only open to people who are 21 years old or over. \nPlease register via email to Jacques Esses at jacques@eshelonline.org \n  \nEVENT INFORMATION: \nThe beach\, the pool\, the hotel\, the disco\, and Shlomo and Michael’s place are all within a 2 minute walk of each other. So\, come with the expectation of an active day of fun\, while taking advantage of having Shlomo and Michael’s place as a central meeting spot for resting up\, washing up\, bathroom spot\, eating\, and coordinating the day (and possible Mincha service) before\, between\, and after other activities. \nWe are also hoping to have a late Potluck lunch\, so people are requested to bring along a food item to share that would be sufficient to serve 6 people. All food must be kosher and either dairy or pareve. \nDon’t Forget to Bring: \n\nSwim Suit \nTowel\nBeach Blanket \nSandals\nSunglasses \nSunscreen\n\n  \nPlease note: Cherry Grove is a world famous\, predominantly LGBT Community\, with a reputation for skimpy attire and occasional nudity.  Much of the entertainment includes off-color humor\, and coarse language.
