SUMMARY:Chicago Parents Meetup with R' Steve Greenberg
DESCRIPTION:Learn from Rabbi Steve Greenberg and connect with other Orthodox parents of LGBTQ+ children in Chicago! \nJoin us at the home of Eshel parents in Skokie on Wednesday\, August 16 at 7:00 pm for a shiur and discussion led by Rabbi Greenberg. \nOrthodoxy is arguably the most diverse of the contemporary Jewish denominations. While the Orthodox response to homosexuality has at times seemed univocal\, in fact the record demonstrates much variety. \nOn the basis of contemporary documents and alongside an Eshel Survey of 250 Orthodox rabbis\, Rabbi Steve Greenberg will offer three distinctive portrayals offered by Orthodox rabbis in understanding these human realities.
