DESCRIPTION:Kabbalat Mitzvot in Conversion and its Relevance to LGBTQ+ Inclusion\nTuesday\, May 4\nThis shiur is for rabbinic colleagues exclusively.  Rabbi Chuck Davidson will address the problem of kabbalat mitzvot in hilchot giyyur and its implications for converting LGBTQ+ individuals.  Rabbi Kalman Pesach (Chuck) Davidson has been active in establishing Orthodox\, non-coercive alternatives to Israel’s Chief Rabbinate (CR) for over a decade. Today\, he heads the Wedding Department of Hashgacha Pratit in a project called Chuppot\, which conducts Orthodox weddings in Israel outside of the CR.
